Quebec Investor Immigration Program

The majorly Francophone province of Canada, Quebec came up with this stream to invite prospective High Net Worth Individuals who would love to move to Quebec and settle down as Business Investors. There are certain minimum requirements under this category for an individual to be eligible:

* The applicant along with his/her spouse/de facto spouse must be able to prove a legally acquired Net worth of CAD $2,000,000 with no part of this amount having come through a donation within the preceding 6 months.

* The applicant must provide documentation showing his/her work experience with at least two of the last five years being management experience

* Must agree to make an investment of CAD $ 1,200,000 for a period of five years in Quebec that is guaranteed by the province of Quebec.

* Must get into a contract with a financial intermediary authorized to participate in the Quebec Investor Program.

* The applicant along with spouse and children(18 yrs or older) must obtain an attestation of learning about the democratic values and the Quebec values by the prescribed deadline.

* Must have a genuine intention to settle in Quebec.

NOTE: Under this program, applicants can apply only when Quebec is accepting new applications. Currently this program is not accepting new applications but the designated intake period is likely to open after March, 2021.
