Nannies or Live-in Caregivers can currently use one of the two Canadian Immigration programs to come to Canada, Home Child Care Provider Pilot & Home Support Worker Pilot. It is important to note here that these are both Pilot programs that are of a temporary nature and have a limited in-take each year. IRCC accepts a maximum of 2,750 applications each year for each pilot and a total of 5,500 applications between both caregiver pilots.

Have a Qualifying Full Time(30+hrs/week) Paid Job Offer from a Canadian Employer outside Quebec. The employer must not be an embassy, high commission, or consulate | ||
Intent, Ability, and Job Offer are no longer required when applying for Permanent Residence on the basis of the accumulated 24 months of Work Experience |
