Alberta is the Western most prairie province of Canada and is widely popular for it’s petroleum industry. With it’s capital in Edmonton, Alberta is one of the most highly sought after provinces for most foreign nationals wishing to immigrate to Canada. Other than Petrol, Alberta also has a rich chemicals, wood & meat products industry. In more recent times, Alberta has also gained popularity as a tourism hub because of its diverse wildlife and scenic destinations The Banff National Park near Calgary is one such destination that is famous for its mountains, beautiful lakes and splendid greenery.

The Alberta immigration programs were recently rechristened and are now collectively known as The Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP). The old name for this was Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP). The following Streams can be used by eligible applicants to gain a nomination for immigrating to Alberta:
